I think you have to be a welder to have a Spitfire, maybe the name references not the Merlin powered warplane but the fire spat from where your MIG tip meets with crusty British steel ?Still waiting on the NOVA, emailed them last week with all the docs, good job there is no rush to use it, this is just the first step to get it re-registered, then need to apply for a logbook, get it made MOT and tax exempt as well, apparently a 4 to 7 week process FFS.Just getting the welding stuff together, will have a practice this weekend if the weather is kind.
