New unit was on back order for 4 months, during which time the MOT expired and I moved house to 300 miles away. Luckily my landlord allowed me to keep the car in one of his barns until the parts turned up. The other 2 coolers were showing signs of corrosion so I got rid of it. The garage I part exchanged it with for the Porsche racked up speeding fines by one of the sales reps who used it as a run around. Easily done!I had 2 facelift W204 C63s, the last of which was off the road for almost a full year with gearbox issues. Parts were on back order with Mercedes for most of that time. Pity because they were both fairly robust otherwise, repairs are to be expected but lead time for parts does seem unacceptable!Both of mine averaged very low teens MPG wise, although they were mostly used as weekend cars. The only thing I've owned which is worse on petrol is an E60 M5.

Been and collected it this lunchtime after another test drive and I read the codes whilst out & about and thankfully zero issues Will collect the 18" alloys & winter tyres ASAP and then sell the 403Ms off; they've just been refurbed but a) I don't like them that much, b) not a fan of black wheels at all and c) the RFTs are crap Parts already been ordered (OEM velour mats and M Sport grilles via Cotswolds BMW) and a full oil & filter change kit etcThe parts list will continue to grow haha
