I've got a list of things done to the Mondeo to get it feeling a tad nicer and more roadworthy.£200 - 2 new front tyres. Opted for Firestone Roadhawk's£35 - New roof aerial base and aerial as the old is corroded to the point it'll be letting in water soon£45 - New carpet mats direct from Ford£21 - Bosch aerotwin wiper blades£10 - Oil filter (got some oil in the garage!)£310 total spend. I'm happy with that. Not gonna bother taxing it until the 1st October as it's £410 for the year... But then it'll be on the road! Now just need to flog the E90 BMW 318i....

It's got the Ford/PSA TDCI lump in it which i believe are bombproof if well maintained, Baz Meredith on YouTube swears by this engine.Just jumping onto the volvo bandwagon for a while.What does the hive shed mind think of the S40 of this era? i was contemplating a C30 to replace the ageing starlet with but they seem to hold their value whereas the S40 are a fair bit cheaper. Will be a petrol manual probably so is there preference between say the 1.6 and 1.8 models? Paid deposit on this at 09.15, seller needs to sort another car before I can hopefully collect on Monday.Pretty grubby inside, just needs a good clean, as does the outside.MOT history is fine, servicing up to 1000 miles ago.I see it as an upgraded 3.0 Alfa GTV... But bigger, much bigger, it's longer than my old xc70.Of course my Alfa on the way home drove extra superb, fingers crossed my wife takes it over.
Would have any one of them, except perhaps the BMW and swap it for a 1M, one of the only @6k ones made, Limited then!

my plan this year was to retire my current car - Golf GTI - to summer use only and buy another daily driver. I don't have a garage/offroad parking for a second car.A 2014 Leon diesel has been lined up to become my daily driver and I've found a car storage place for the Golf over this winter,I'm struggling to find car insurance to cover this scenario.My current insurer - Esure - won't cover a 2nd vehicle. The online insurance quote places don't have flexibility I need eg the Golf will get used for say 5K miles a year in the summer and will be in storage the rest of the time. The answers to wher

Thankyou for all the updates on you pe , going to look at this one for the wife this weekend ( her idea of a retirement car ) , I’m not sure we will buy it as she normally ends up in tears and says she would rather keep her mk7 st , but you never know , the orange is lovely , and I think a good update on her st .
