증상
오일 컨트롤 링이 심하게 마모되어 많은 양의 오일을 소모하고 있는데, 압축 링은 아직 양호한 상태일 수 있는가? 아니면 보통 함께 마모되어 오일 소모와 저 실린더 압력이 함께 나타나는가?
처리 내용
링은 일반적으로 같은 속도로 마모되므로 하나를 교체해야 할 때는 모두 교체해야 한다. 링들이 실린더에 제대로 밀착하지 않기 때문이다. 오일 소모가 반드시 압축 손실을 의미하는 것은 아니다. 링이 양호한 차량도 밸브 가이드나 밸브 스템 씰이 불량하면 오일을 소모할 수 있다. 압축 테스트를 수행하면 이 문제를 파악하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.
