Design wise, I see that as an aesthetic triumph. Proportions, stance, details, jewellery, it ticks all the boxes on the outside…. A concept car made real with a super narrow glass house, stretched wheelbase, short front overhang, longer at the rear, smooth clean surfacing with large wheels filling a super crisp wheel arch.Inside is the same, super clean, minimal, crisp and modern, with clever touches adding theatre.It gives Polestar vibes at a higher level.But…… butWhat is under that mahoosive bonnet?Where are the people supposed to go?Where are their things supposed to be put?Watching the videos at launch reviewers are folding themselves to get in the front let alone the rear?!It’s a statement piece. I can’t wait to see it in the flesh.I definitely do not want one though… if I were the target demographic, I think I’d really struggle with the desire to own such a dramatic bauble that is so hugely compromised by the interior.I hope it has long enough in the sun for the marketing to take effect and generate sales.This industry is moving really fast right now and the next big divisive brand reveal can’t be far away….Perhaps Ferrari can unveil something luscious as a counterpoint…. Oh…. wait…no they’ve had their moment… forgotten that now…
