I had a heat pump in mine, but come winter it had to switch to resistive heating, once you get over 50mph it's got the aero of a brick, your be lucky to see 3 miles per kWh at 60 mph even in summer - The Leaf speedo also over read to make you feel better - Stick to 55mph and lorries will be passing you!!!One that is decade old, with 75% battery degradation, even a short trip out of town in winter will be quite 'Exciting'.......I only hit turtle mode once in the Leaf I owned, it's an experience I never want to repeat. It really isn't fun to be going down the A14 in the rain, middle of February with HGVs blasting their horn when they go past. Than you have the delight of trying to work out if thing wasn't charging because you haven't pulled the gen 1 CHAdeMO connector lever properly, or its just because the Ecotricity charger wasn't working (again) ..oh the lights on the Leaf are less powerful than the lights on my current eBike. EV life back a decade ago really wasn't great, the Leaf didn't help. Great car if you literally only need to stay within city limits, honestly my current eBike is a better way to get around the city.
