증상
차량을 물로 세척한 후 ECU가 부팅과 재부팅을 반복하며 가열, 조명, 방향지시등, 도어락이 켜졌다 꺼졌다를 반복함. 배터리를 분리했다 재연결해도 같은 증상 발생. 엔진 작동 중에만 스캔 가능하며 여러 모듈에서 'failed to communicate' 에러 발생하지만 엔진은 정상 작동 중.
처리 내용
CAN 버스의 어느 모듈이 점화 전원(+)에서 전원(+)으로 단락되어 모든 모듈에 웨이크업 신호를 보내고 있었음. 더 많은 전류를 그리려고 하면 시스템이 다운됨. 파이어월 아래 스커틀에 장착된 전자식 트랜스퍼 케이스 컨트롤 모듈(Transfer Case Control Module)을 검사하여 물과 산화구리가 들어있는 것을 발견. 모든 부품을 세척하고 건조시켜 문제 해결함.

New car time for me. I picked this up this week after a 6 week delay thanks to the JLR cyber attack. I ordered it back in June so the overall wait hasn't been terrible. It replaces an M3 Touring that was great but felt a bit small at times. Since the Octa was announced I've loved the idea and all reviews of it are fantastic. The new Defender has grown on me since its introduction and the Octa really does seem to be a car that ticks most boxes for me.They come pretty well loaded as standard. I chose the standard car over the Edition One as I'm not a fan of huge amounts of carbon fibre. C

Been and collected it this lunchtime after another test drive and I read the codes whilst out & about and thankfully zero issues Will collect the 18" alloys & winter tyres ASAP and then sell the 403Ms off; they've just been refurbed but a) I don't like them that much, b) not a fan of black wheels at all and c) the RFTs are crap Parts already been ordered (OEM velour mats and M Sport grilles via Cotswolds BMW) and a full oil & filter change kit etcThe parts list will continue to grow haha
