증상
고속 주행 시(시속 70마일 부근) 핸들이 간헐적으로 진동합니다. 매일 발생하지는 않으며, 같은 속도에서도 어떤 날은 진동이 없고 어떤 날은 심하게 진동합니다. 시속 68~75마일 범위에서만 진동이 발생하며, 그보다 느리거나 빠르면 진동이 없습니다. 1개월 전 좌측 휠 베어링 교체, 타이어 로테이션, 프론트 로터 및 패드 교체를 했으나 여전히 간헐적으로 진동합니다.
처리 내용
핸들 진동은 특정 속도 범위(시속 5~10마일, 60~70마일)에서 가장 두드러지며, 그 범위를 벗어나면 현저히 감소하거나 사라집니다. 마모된 타이어로 인한 진동은 더 넓은 속도 범위에서 나타나며, 진동의 심각도는 속도에 정비례합니다. 저속에서는 '워블(wobbles)' 현상이 느껴질 수 있으며, 이는 주로 휜 휠, 벨트가 이동한 타이어(런아웃), 서스펜션/얼라인먼트 문제로 인해 발생합니다. 휠/타이어 밸런싱 시 많은 량의 웨이트가 사용되었다면 품질 문제가 있을 수 있습니다. 고급 타이어를 정상 휠에 장착했을 때는 보통 휠당 0.5온스 정도의 웨이트만 필요합니다.
