증상
점프스타트 후 배터리 케이블을 분리했는데, 실수로 두 케이블이 서로 접촉하면서 1초 미만 동안 스파크가 발생했습니다. 당시 메르세데스 엔진은 켜져 있었습니다. 상대방 차량이 손상되었을 가능성이 있는지 걱정됩니다.
처리 내용
케이블이 어디에 연결되어 있었는지에 따라 다릅니다. 배터리에 연결되어 있었다면 이론적으로 배터리가 손상될 수 있지만, 설명하신 상황에서는 그 확률이 매우 낮습니다. 전류의 흐름은 물의 흐름과 유사하며, 전류는 항상 최단 경로를 따릅니다. 배터리에서 출발한 전류는 발전기보다 배터리로 먼저 흡수됩니다. 다만 손상이 발생하려면 케이블이 훨씬 더 오래 연결되어 있거나 배터리가 이미 거의 방전된 상태여야 합니다. 자동차 배터리는 매우 견고하며 이런 방식으로 손상되기 어렵습니다. 만약 케이블이 발전기(절대 권장하지 않음)에 연결되었다면 발전기의 코일이 배터리보다 빨리 과열될 수 있으므로 문제가 생길 가능성이 더 높습니다.

2005 Smart ForFour 1.5 CDI (70kw/95hp) 연료 탱크 누유. 순정 부품이 단종되어 중고 부품 구매 필요. eBay에서 같은 부품 번호(MR978279)의 탱크를 찾았으나 다른 모델(Smart ForFour 1.5 CDI 70/90kw 또는 Mitsubishi Colt 1.5 DID)에서 나온 것들임. 같은 플랫폼의 다른 디젤 자동차에서 나온 같은 부품 번호의 탱크를 사용해도 안전한지 확인 필요.

I'll always remember overtaking 3 cars in a row years back in my Sierra XR4x4, and the one in the middle didn't look and crashed into the side of me whilst I was overtaking. So I've always been a bit nervous doing that ever since really, I've still done it don't get me wrong, but I just hope that the other drivers are concentrating when I've done it though.
