You'll normally pay a lot less per kWh for a slow charger than a fast DC charger.

Therefore - for urban driving/commuting - fuelling an EV through the slow charging network will still be cheaper than all but the smallest superminis and best hybrids. For the level of performance on offer, the EV is far cheaper to fuel than fast ICE. Over time more and more consumers will learn this and be less worried about public charging. And then as DA illustrates, at some point the public charging rates will surely(?) be lowered through legislation but that could easily be a decade away.Being able to have a pavement gully would obviously help as well!Yep would be fine with 50p per kWh, but as always if I can get it cheaper, then that is always helpful. Appreciate their willingness to be the initial costs.Hear the argument that public charging prices will come down, would they really though, electric companies won’t be happy doing so, and when prices are high on all sorts of of things, the prices really come down to a meaningful level. This would need government intervention.I am sure ideas for home charging for those without driveways, would also not make the public charging networks best pleased, as this further removes their income streams. Also one thing I have noticed in my area at least, there are plenty of lampost and fast chargers, but they are hardly being used. Outside my house there are 3 lampost charging bays with 100 yards, only on person on our street who has a etron uses the bay.On my street we have a permit parking zone, so not many cars would be parked up for days on end, and usually parking outside my home is available most days, and as I said previously with the mileage I do, would really only need to plug in once every 3-4 weeks.

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Still as subtle as a brick in your face. Not for me.

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
