증상

타이어 교체 시 럭너트를 푸는 방법에 대한 질문. 처음 3개 타이어는 지면에 닿은 상태에서 럭너트를 풀었으나, 4번째 타이어는 공중에 떠 있는 상태에서 임팩트렌치로 스타 패턴으로 풀었을 때 문제가 없어 보임. 수동 렌치를 사용할 때와 임팩트렌치를 사용할 때의 차이가 궁금함.

처리 내용

수동 렌치(브레이커 바나 타이어 아이언)로 럭너트를 풀 때는 반드시 타이어가 지면에 닿아 있어야 합니다. 그 이유는 첫째, 타이어가 공중에 있으면 회전하면서 럭너트를 풀기 어렵고, 둘째, 차량에 토크가 가해져 잭이나 잭 스탠드에서 차량이 떨어질 수 있기 때문입니다. 임팩트렌치는 토크가 아닌 충격과 관성으로 럭너트를 제거하므로 공중 상태에서도 문제없습니다. 다만 럭너트를 조일 때는 임팩트렌치를 절대 사용하지 마십시오. 과도하게 조여질 수 있습니다. 래칫으로 대략 조인 후 토크렌치로 정확한 토크값에 맞춰 마무리하세요.
