증상
N62 V8 엔진을 블록까지 분해 중이며, 실린더 벽 상태를 확인하고 싶음. Alusil 블록은 일반적인 방식으로 호닝이 불가능하다는 정보를 들었음. 호닝으로 손상을 검사할 수 있는지, 그리고 블록이 오버보어(over-bore)되어야 하는 경우 블록이 완전히 사용 불가능해지는지 확인 필요.
처리 내용
실린더는 시각 검사와 계측(마이크로미터 측정)으로 상태를 판단하며, 보어 작업이 필요한지 결정함. 호닝(honing)과 보어(boring)는 서로 다른 작업임. Alusil 블록의 경우 BMW 전문점에 상담하여 측정 후 적절한 복구 방법(호닝, 슬리브 교체, 또는 블록 교체)을 결정할 것. 블록이 과도하게 손상되지 않았다면 호닝으로 복구 가능하며, 제한된 범위 내에서 보어도 가능함.

Likely a very good car as you’d expect with the Cayenne.Struggle to wrap my head around pricing like that now. Can get some seriously good cars that will do everything for half the price now.
BMW 3시리즈 투어링(G21) iD7 맵 데이터 업데이트(2026) - 1단계: 맵 데이터가 2022년 버전이었으므로 My BMW에서 1년 데이터 업데이트 권한을 구매하여 업데이트 완료. 2단계: USB 메모리에는 'USB3.2gen1'이라고 표기되어 있었으나 실제 전송 속도는 어떻게 해도 USB 2.0 수준. 약 30GB 용량에 약 30분 소요. USB 메모리 품질 문제로 추정됨. 신품이긴 했으나 USB 관련 스펙 표기의 신뢰도 낮음.
