증상
타이어 4개를 교체했는데, 앞쪽 왼쪽 타이어에 제조 연도 코드(DOT 날짜 코드)가 없음. 앞쪽 오른쪽과 뒤쪽 오른쪽 타이어는 2016년 제조 코드가 정상적으로 표시되어 있음.
처리 내용
타이어의 DOT 날짜 코드는 한쪽 면에만 핫스탬핑되며, 타이어 몰드에는 양면에 표시 공간이 있어도 제조사에서는 한쪽 면만 각인하면 됨. 방향성 타이어(directional tire)의 경우 차량의 오른쪽 바깥면에만 날짜 코드가 표시될 수 있음. 제조사마다 각인하는 면이 다를 수 있으므로 왼쪽 타이어에 코드가 없는 것은 정상. 타이어의 뒤쪽이나 다른 면을 확인하거나, 구매 영수증이나 거래 기록으로 제조 연도를 확인하면 됨. 향후 RFID/NFC 칩이 타이어에 내장되어 스마트폰 앱으로 스캔할 수 있게 될 예정.

Been and collected it this lunchtime after another test drive and I read the codes whilst out & about and thankfully zero issues Will collect the 18" alloys & winter tyres ASAP and then sell the 403Ms off; they've just been refurbed but a) I don't like them that much, b) not a fan of black wheels at all and c) the RFTs are crap Parts already been ordered (OEM velour mats and M Sport grilles via Cotswolds BMW) and a full oil & filter change kit etcThe parts list will continue to grow haha
