증상
1989 VW Jetta 냉각수 레벨 센서의 수컷 커넥터가 손상되었거나 누락되어 교체가 필요한 상황. 정품 센서 교체는 쉽지만, 커넥터만 따로 구하기 어려움.
처리 내용
정확한 교체품은 자동차 해체업체(salvage yard)에서 구하는 것이 최선의 방법. 대체 방법으로 냉각수 온도 센서 커넥터를 확인해보면 냉각수 레벨 센서 커넥터와 매우 유사하므로 동일한 제품 두 개를 주문할 수 있음. 정확한 호환성은 없어서 고정 메커니즘이 확실하게 클릭되지 않을 수 있지만, 전기 연결은 양호하며 단순 스페이드 터미널보다 훨씬 견고함. RockAuto 등에서 구매 가능.

I bought one of these 3 years ago for £21k it had 19k miles on it and all factory options ticked aside from heated steering wheel and colour changing interior lights.For the money I could have bought a semi ropey 90k+ miles German saloon of similar spec and power and would have spend money fixing the higher mileage problems that they would have come with.As it stands, coming up to 37k miles I've paid for new tyres, brakes and a coolant bottle because it had a hairline crack the MOT history is and always has been a clear pass, not a single advisory and I get to hear a supercharged V6 every time
