디젤 엔진 배기량은 약 1.5L로 추정됨. 휘발유 차량과 유사한 용도(일일 60마일 출퇴근, 주 5~6일, 연 20,000마일 이상)로 사용 중이며, 디젤이 10마일/갤런 이상 더 좋은 연비를 제공할 것으로 예상되지만 최근 디젤 유가가 상당히 상승함. 참고로 포드에서는 현재 디젤 승용차 모델을 제공하지 않을 수 있음.
