Bought cheap as airbag light was on (seat connector). Only has 107k right now but has been flawless over the past 8 or so years. Just recently rebuilt the handbrake - pretty sure they were original shoes. Yes it's based on an Astra floor pan but there's so much Saab-ness in it. Has cruise, heated leather and working climate, so I'm hardly suffering. Also a clever box that plugs into the CD changer and accepts Bluetooth from the phone and retains steering wheel controls.Daily 2 is a 2009 Astra H SRi 1.8 VVT, due to needing a ULEZ car (Saab is 6 months too old, still has the B204 engine). It has heated leather and AC and had a modern DAB/ Bluetooth radio fitted when it was 3 years old and works perfectly. Not fast, but will do mid 40mpg now it has a working thermostat. I added cruise control myself. 101k miles.I'm lucky I have a Tech2 which is the dealer tool for both cars and allows me to even program keys and customise certain features (stop the Astra illumining its dials unless lights on, for example, as well as diagnostics although neither have needed so far.I do have a GTE 16V in the garage waiting a tiny patch of welding in a really awkward area.
