I was fortunate to see the car last week and they are launching with a fairly dissappointing (to me) colour range. The London Red as per the concept car was breathtaking on the Type 01 but it will be a limited edition and there weren't any strong greens offered.The car itself was fabulous.There were a couple of yellows of note, that pale zit puss yellow and then the darker horse urine one. My mother had a puss coloured XJ6 while my father moved from silver or red Jaguars to the charming and sophisticated range of faecal browns, tending to favour the darker brown of a more stubborn stool over that more pale, pub toilet catastrophe brown. My grandfather always drove a BRG Jag but ironically was the least sane member of the family. That lilac colour was probably the most fun to see as a child as it was quite rare for owners to step that far away from the bodily excrement palette. 70s colours are back so hopefully buyers of the 01 will be more adventurous as they exit the world of the miserable grey German.
