증상
2004 Cadillac Escalade 2WD 5.3L V8 Z55 Autoride 서스펜션의 승차감이 거칠어서 개선하려고 함. 표준 OEM 가스 쇼크로 교체하려고 했으나 Autoride 설정과 호환되지 않음. 전자식 쇼크를 가스 쇼크로 교체 가능한지, 그리고 가능하다면 Autoride 기능이 작동하지 않아도 되는지 확인하려고 함. 쇼크 하나당 교체 비용이 약 $250이고 차량의 Autoride 시스템이 이미 작동하지 않음.
처리 내용
전자식 조정 쇼크를 표준 쇼크로 교체하는 키트가 있음. 이 키트는 차량의 배선 하네스에 연결되는 작은 모듈 몇 개가 포함되어 있으며, 컴퓨터에 조정식 쇼크가 여전히 존재한다고 속여서 경고등이나 메시지를 처리할 필요가 없음. 경고등을 감수할 수 있다면, 같은 연식 Escalade, Tahoe 또는 Yukon의 Z55가 아닌 쇼크를 구입하면 됨. 이것이 작동함. 조정 기능을 유지하고 싶지 않다면 실제로 문제가 되지 않음.
