Hola, bonjour, gutten tag, Nǐ hǎo, Konnichiwa, Namaste, ay Oop, wotcha!!!I know it's been a llooooonnnnggg time since I updated anything on Ivor the R55 Cooper S Clubby but there's been a lot going on professionally and personally, not least being the purchase of a flat.So, Ivor, he continues to be reliable despite the doomsayers telling me over and over that he'll blow up and cost thousands, he passed his MOT with zero advisories again in February, although the specialist has advised that he needs a clutch pressure pipe as it's rusting and the lower pulley is breaking up, it's a rubber coated metal pulley and the rubber coating is cracking up, so he's going back in on Friday for that to be done.I noticed that the passenger side windscreen wiper was split and leaving a smear so ordered my favourite brand to replace them.Back on new year's day I drove him to the car meet at The Phoenix Inn at Hartney Witney, the day was beautiful but bitterly cold, despite this there was a huge, and I mean huge, turnout!!!!Many many cars and people, mostly very well behaved and courteous, as always there was some plum in a modified BMW behaving like an idiot and launched it between the rows of parked cars.There literally was just about every sort of vehicle in attendance from hyper cars to historic cars, it's a fantastic meet to get to too, I had a lot of fun driving too and from.And finally something to look forward to......I'm starting to accrue a few parts for him, grooved and drilled discs and uprated pads, a new poly pushed lower torque mount from Powerflex and an Airtec induction kit are all being bought ready to be fitted along with new front tyres and an alignment and a brake fluid change in preparation for us taking him on the North coast 500 in September.......
