증상
Escape가 몇 주일간 주차장에 방치되어 있었고 열쇠가 차 안에 있으며 예비 열쇠가 없는 상황. 키패드가 작동하지 않음. 배터리가 방전된 것으로 추측. 차량 진입 방법을 찾는 중.
처리 내용
가장 쉬운 방법은 locksmith나 견인 회사, 또는 일부 택시 회사에 전화하는 것. 이들은 차량 잠금을 해제할 수 있는 킷을 가지고 있으며 보통 약 $40 정도 소요됨 (지역에 따라 가격 변동 가능). 보닛 열기는 가능하지만 대부분의 차량에서 release cable에 접근하기가 매우 어려움. 노출된 배선에 전원을 연결하는 것은 정확히 어느 배선인지 알지 못하면 위험함. Starter의 양극(positive side)이 좋은 위치이지만 접근하기 까다로움.

2010 Ford Escape에서 AC 작동 시 드라이브 상태에서 심한 불규칙한 아이들링 진동 발생. 파크나 뉴트럴 상태에서는 매우 부드러움. 신호 대기 중 진동이 심함. 주행 중에는 진동을 거의 느끼지 못함. 주행거리 약 90,000마일, AC 자체는 정상 작동.
에어컨에서 간헐적으로 뜨거운 바람이 나옴. 블로어가 최저 속도(Speed 1)에서 작동하지 않음 (Speed 2-4는 정상). 에어컨 시스템에 냉매가 과다 충전되어 있고 에어컨이 얼어붙음. 블로어가 작동하지 않아서 냉기가 실내로 흐르지 않는 것으로 추정.
