증상
추운 날씨(-12°F)에서 모든 타이어의 공기압 경고가 5psi 이상 낮게 표시됨. 주행 후 타이어가 데워지면서 경고가 사라짐.
처리 내용
타이어 공기압은 냉간 상태(상온)에서 점검해야 함. 35도 온도 하강 시 약 5psi 감소 발생 가능. TPMS(타이어 공기압 모니터링 시스템) 경고가 냉간 시동 시 나타나면 타이어가 저기압 상태이며, 주행 후 경고가 사라져도 여전히 저기압임. 30일마다 점검 권장. 고속도로 주행 30분 후 타이어 온도는 약 50도 상승할 수 있으므로, 고온의 타이어 공기압 점검 시 식힌 후 측정할 것.
