There’s a lot to be said for a car that just works (especially when owned alongside a Jaguar that often…doesn’t). My partner loves it because she goes to muddy places with the dogs and doesn’t need to worry about it getting stuck/scratched/dirty, and whenever the Jaguar has finished an extended stay at a specialist the Duster is just there on the driveway ready to go and get it. It’s even still on the same battery it came with new. It’s far from perfect - Shed is right about the 4x4 gearing, which makes it loud on the motorway, it steams up easily, and the connectivity is a bit dim - but there’s a lot more to be said for it than I’d have ever thought when I collected it from the dealer in 2017. The pricing info at the start is also incorrect; when ours was bought in 2017 the 2x4 Access version, as here, started at just over £9k(!)
