증상
2014 Ford Fusion SE, 2.0L 엔진, 순정 타이어 235/45R18에서 겨울용으로 17인치로 다운사이즈 하려고 함. OEM 직경에 가까운 215/55R17이 수학적으로 가장 유사하지만, 온라인 및 매장에서는 225/50R17 또는 225/55R17을 먼저 추천함. 두 사이즈 모두 OEM 대비 2% 이내이지만 215가 더 정확함. 뭔가 놓친 게 있나 싶음

18인치에서 17인치로 휠을 바꿀 때는 타이어 너비가 새 휠에 맞는지 먼저 확인하는 것이 프로파일/외경보다 더 중요함 (휠 폭도 동일한지 확인 필요). 타이어 숍에서 225를 추천하는 이유는 215보다 더 흔한 사이즈이기 때문일 수 있음. 판매점에 225 추천 이유를 직접 물어봤는지 확인하길 권함. 그들의 추천 근거를 듣는 것이 중요함

Been and collected it this lunchtime after another test drive and I read the codes whilst out & about and thankfully zero issues Will collect the 18" alloys & winter tyres ASAP and then sell the 403Ms off; they've just been refurbed but a) I don't like them that much, b) not a fan of black wheels at all and c) the RFTs are crap Parts already been ordered (OEM velour mats and M Sport grilles via Cotswolds BMW) and a full oil & filter change kit etcThe parts list will continue to grow haha
