Although the bigger problem is folk buying massive cars (no problem, am all for choice) - and then taking them places they don't fit and complaining about it. Car too wide for on-street partking? - DON'T F'ING PARK THERE THEN. Car doesn't fit in the multi-storey? Park and ride for you then etc.
