증상

겨울 타이어를 연중 사용해야 하는지, 아니면 계절별로 교체해야 하는지 판단 불가. 타호 지역 스키장 방문을 위해 겨울 타이어가 필요하지만, 평일에는 해수면 고도의 건조하거나 젖은 포장도로에서 45-65°F 기온으로 운행. 타이어 제조사의 최대 사용 온도 스펙을 찾을 수 없음.

처리 내용

겨울 타이어는 스키 시즌 동안 장착 상태로 두는 것을 추천. 타이어 제조사에서 명시한 절대적인 제거 기준 온도는 없음. 매주말 타이어를 교체하는 것은 마모를 증가시킬 뿐 아니라 안전 위험을 초래할 수 있음 (야간 운행 중 서두르다가 휠너트 조임을 제대로 확인하지 못할 위험 등). 한 세트의 타이어에 마모가 집중되는 것보다는 겨울 시즌 기간 동안 겨울 타이어를 착용하는 것이 더 안전한 방법임.
