증상
'07 코발트에서 중간 샤프트(및 랙) 교체 중 파이어월 개구부에 샤프트 부트를 장착하기 어려움. 부트의 '도넛' 모양 부분이 개구부를 통과하여 부트를 고정해야 하는데 통과되지 않음. GM 매뉴얼에서는 "밀고, 쥐고, 비틀기 동작으로 씰이 완전히 장착될 때까지 중간 샤프트 씰을 장착하라"고만 지시하고 있으며, 이는 샤프트를 랙이나 스티어링 휠에 부착하기 전에 수행해야 함. 여러 방법을 시도했으나 여전히 도넛 부분이 통과하지 않음.
