Mikebentley said: I may be wrong but I believe they all have the same batteries. Could do with some nice leather too.Different batteries in RR/RRS to the Jaguar. Evo also seem to have their figures muddled up too - the average RR isn't £200k and in the latest magazine they say the Type 01 starts at under £100k and average £125k plus the weight is wrong. Not sure what's happened with their research.

The UK's towns and B-road network were in many cases built for horses and carts - and even the new stuff is built with the idea that everything has to adapt to the old bits. Hence the tiny car parking space limits in out-of-town car parks. As for "alienating the customer base", if their customer base was big enough to support a viable business, they wouldn't have needed to do this. That customer base didn't show up enough to make the X350, 2nd generation XF, the XE, or the last XJ financially viable. Those cars lost money. The only big sellers they had were the first generation XF - the one everyone complained at the time "didn't look like a Jaguar" - and the F-pace, and JLR have enough product in that space to not feel its loss. The problem with this "customer base" is that it isn't a customer base at all - in the sense of being a group of people who will buy enough of the product to justify making it in the first place. It's a fan base. But a business depend on people actually buying things, not liking them. Old Jaguars were cars that people felt warm and fuzzy about their existence without ever needing to buy one themselves.Re. bold highlight - indeed. But it seems daft to also alienate new home-market punters, incl. those in mainland Europe. Are the average ABC1 buyers in China and the MEA even aware of Jaguar's existence - and is there data to suggest that heeooge 5-door 'GT' EVs are selling well in those regions? The Chinese have stopped buying Porsches, are they really going to start buying jaGs?And speaking of Porsche, shurley a more realistic comparison for the Typo1 is the Taycan, not the S-class nor 7-series?But compared to Typo1, the Taycan is narrower, shorter - and I bet it has more cabin space? - and it's c.450kg lighter. And obviously has a more premium dash design

A few years ago I saw Porsche 992 racers on 18", which looked ridiculous. So I asked why?Because they drive so much better on 18" sir.OK, I'll have a JAS Tensei NSX on 18" please...
