I've worked with the Chinese for nearly 15 years. Mainly around power and engineering.Brilliant culture. They are fantastic at mass produced consumables.Phones, electronics , appliances, EV's, batteries, Temu, BYD.What they don't understand are humans, bespoke engineering, outside the box creativity (literally and metaphorically). Cool. Regarding cars, I don't think they will effect too much the premium manufacturers where the USPs are founded on development and a perceived culture , JLR, Bentley, Ferrari, Porsche, Toyota etc.I do fear for the likes of Vauxhall, ford, Audi, BMW, VW.

Them being Communist's especially China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and various other aggressive states, if they thought for a minute they could win that war they would go for it.So instead they have formulated a plan this being an economic war to take down the Western economies to a point where we cannot afford to defend ourselves. These people play the long game, their first move was to wait till our governments were infiltrated by their operatives pushing suicidal economic policies the best of them being Net-Zero and Green Energy all under the guise of socialism, this also allows them to spend vast amounts of money on welfare encouraging people not to work.Once this was in place and working well then they unleashed their master stroke to finally disrupt our way of life, mass uncontrolled migration to Western Countries.Think about it...where do people from some of the poorest countries in the world get thousands of pounds to enable them to travel half way around the world to end up in Western Europe...they are being financed by one of the largest economies in the world China and from Russia, it has been arranged for these people to come here to take down our way of life from within.Look what's happening right now in the UK and all over Europe (apart from Poland) their plan is working just fine and in a few more years we will be in one hell of a state. And here we have someone defending the sale of China made cars...have a good think about what side you are on.Edited by Clad-Hach on Saturday 1st August 08:25 Think about this too, Germany and its allies couldn't conque

From what I understand.. no aftermarket V10 exhaust passes regular track noise limits. Yes, you can test in the paddock with the valves closed but if you run on track with them closed the additional back-pressure kills the engine. I'd be limited to anything that's no limits, which isn't much and, lets be honest, is where all the big boys play I think you are looking at this wrong…Put an exhaust on the R8. Then you can buy a light weight more track focussed car for track. More cars,
