증상
VW 디젤 엔진에 Frost Heater(ZeroStart 엔진히터 기반 설치키트) 설치 후, 운전 중 히터를 사용할 수 있는지 확인 필요. 히터는 온도 조절식이므로 엔진이 데워지면 자동으로 꺼질 것으로 예상되지만, 엔진 구동 중 히터를 연결한 상태로 유지해도 문제가 없는지 확인하고 싶음.
처리 내용
제조사 지침에 따르면 엔진 구동 중 엔진히터를 연결하면 안 된다. 이렇게 하면 발열체 주변에 공기 주머니가 생겨서 발열체가 조기에 소손될 수 있다. 따라서 엔진을 시동한 후에는 히터의 플러그를 반드시 뽑아야 하며, 엔진이 작동하는 동안 히터를 연결된 상태로 두면 안 된다.
