Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone that likes to read my ongoing woe and adventures!I thought I would do a little bit of a roundup of the year and a few small updates.Year RoundupDepartures:Mazda 3 MPSArrivals:Fiesta Zetec S & Ducati MonsterFinancial Damage:Mini - £7kFiesta - £7.5kRX8 - £2kRX7 - £275Ducati - £2000Total - £18,775 With only about £3k of that mitigated by the sale of the MPS. Those figures are only for parts/labour/bits and not including purchase prices of Fiesta and the Ducati Quite frankly a scary number, at the start of the year I was not envisioning having to semi restore 2 cars so probably my most expensive year I've ever had since I started driving. Sponsored by myself and an obscene amounts of overtime to take the sting out of it. The Fiesta did also have the benefit of some mates rates thrown in.'26 I'd love to get back to spending money on fun bits and bobs. But it may lead to a more conservative year to recover from '25. Or I'll end myself doing even more overtime Overall Musings from '25It has been a heck of a year, the sale of the MPS was tough but being brutally honest with myself I am glad it has gone and I don't have to be insanely precious over it and the sale of it meant I could save the Fiesta from probably going to the scrap heap in the sky. Postponing the trip to the Ring was sad, but I am trying to get that booked in shortly as soon as my friend with his turbo'd MX5 gets his finger out The Mini should be at the point where there won't be any huge issues and should be fit and ready for it. The rotary duo are still amazing, they haven't had the driving they deserve and amusingly easily the least rusty of all of my cars! I really should get the RX7 some new wheels and tyres, so hopefully I can put some money aside for that. The 8 might have a cheaper year as I got the main bulk of the work done this year including the undersealing and protection. Definitely won't be going anywhere, unless someone offers me something stupi
