Just How did they get those interior colours so terribly wrong ?? Its awful.And yes, as much as i adored my 3 x air cooled 911 and Really do want another ( but do not see a 3.2 Carrera being worth 50 grand plus ) this back date thing for people with more money than sense is really getting boring now...

I was running a lovely 3.2 Carrera at the time. Had a long test drive of the 964. It was a Huge event to drive & yes i really liked it, but in no way was it a "Drivers" car like the 3.2 was. It was a point and squirt car and booting it down my then go to lanes, it felt out of its depth & a huge accident waiting to happen. Its owner told me he had lost it one day, stoving in a rear 1/4, but a real gent in telling me. Winter 1993. On my way to the office, I'm slightly distracted by changing the music or something and I don't notice the rush hour traffic has come to a halt - I brake hard but manage to hit the Fiesta. The driver in the 7 series in front of the Fiesta hears the impact and instantly stands on the brake but inadvertently floors the throttle and careers over the road, hits the opposite fence, spins around, hits the fence on this side, then comes to a halt. His car was less than a month old.....I manage to get away with 3 points for driving without due car and a big old slice of humble pie. Ca

(Member 35 years)In the Renewal pack, there was a leaflet pushing their "Accident assist" scheme.They say, if you have a bump, use them, NOT my insurance company (LV) because:-No policy excess to pay UP FRONTVehicle recovery by the AALifetime guarantee on repair workmanshipLike for like car provided, (If not at fault)THEY will deal with the insurance companies.I am free to choose my repairer.Personally, I would rather deal with my own insurer who have a first class reputation.
