증상

2017 닛산 알티마 SR 2.5L - 1개월 전 뒷휠 그라인딩 음소 때문에 브레이크 패드 교체했으나 패드가 반정도만 닳아있었음. 새 패드 장착 후 브레이킹 시와 브레이킹하지 않을 때 심한 진동 발생. 오늘 로터 교체했으나 설치 전 로터를 청소하지 않음. 모든 진동이 사라졌으나 정차 직전에 문제 발생.

처리 내용

세라믹 브레이크 패드 사용 시 설치 후 첫 사용에서 로터가 연기나는 것은 정상입니다. 불안할 수 있지만 비정상은 아닙니다. 매번 운전할 때마다 연기가 계속 나면 문제가 있는 것이고, 더 이상 보이지 않으면 문제없습니다. 연기의 원인은 브레이크 패드의 결합제(접착제)가 첫 고온 사이클에서 가열되고 경화되기 때문입니다. 이 과정에서 연기가 배출되는 것은 매우 정상이며, 눈에 띄는 정도의 연기입니다. **매우 중요: 로터 설치 시 반드시 청소해야 합니다.** 로터는 생산 시 녹 방지 코팅이 되어있으며, 이 코팅을 청소하지 않으면 패드를 오염시켜 문제를 유발할 가능성이 높습니다. 프로페셔널 정비사는 항상 로터를 청소합니다. 향후 로터 교체 시 반드시 청소하세요.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.
