증상
연료 게이지가 주행 거리 대비 빠르게 떨어지는 것으로 보임. 일주일 간 주차 후 시동 걸 때 크랭킹이 느림. 트립 오도미터가 리셋되고 연료 부족 경고등이 켜짐 (게이지는 반 정도 표시). 배터리 교체 후 확인 필요.
처리 내용
연료 게이지는 절대적인 정확도를 기대하기 어려움. 컴퓨터와 게이지 사이의 버퍼로 인해 반응이 느림 (옛날 차량에서 회전 시 게이지 변동을 방지하기 위함). 최선의 접근법은 게이지를 '최소한 반 이상' 또는 '반 이하면 연료 보충 시간' 정도로 해석하는 것. 연료 센더는 느린 반응 특성이 있으므로 차량의 신호를 학습하고 이해할 필요 있음. 낮은 연료 경고등은 대시보드 초기화 시 테스트될 수 있으며 반응이 느릴 수 있음. 차량마다 특성이 다르므로 본인 차량의 패턴을 파악하는 것이 중요함.
