증상
자동변속기 차량을 후진할 때 브레이크를 천천히 놓으면 1초 정도 저음의 우르렁거리는 소리(마루판 삐걱거리는 소리와 유사)가 들림. 브레이크를 빠르게 놓으면 소리가 최소화됨.
처리 내용
1) 브레이크를 천천히 놓으면 디스크에 브레이크 패드가 더 오래 접촉하게 되고, 서스펜션 로드나 중력으로 디스크가 회전하기 시작하면서 마찰음이 발생합니다. 2) 후진을 선택하면 자동변속기의 드라이브트레인이 반대 방향으로 회전하도록 로드되면서 유격(free play)이 모두 흡수됩니다. 수동변속기에서는 클러치를 올릴 때만 발생하는 현상입니다. 이는 정상적인 소리이며 걱정할 필요가 없습니다.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.

I think it is a shame to lose one of the distinctive features of the 944 (the wrap around rear screen).Proportions from rear three-quarters are also a bit too Scimitar for my taste but each to their own.
