에어 라이드 서스펜션 설치 시 액슬의 피니언 앵글을 어떻게 설정하는가?
처리 내용
불균등 길이 암(4-링크 서스펜션 가정)의 경우, 피니언 앵글은 주행 높이에 따라 변한다. 주행 동안 변화하는 것을 그래픽에서 확인할 수 있다. 따라서 모든 라이드 높이에서 설정할 수 없다. 레이싱 용도가 아닌 경우, 드라이브트레인 앵글(엔진/트랜스미션 라인)과 피니언 앵글의 차이가 0이 되도록 설정하는 것이 목표다. 드라이브트레인 앵글을 쉽게 조정할 수 없으므로, 피니언 앵글 설정은 사용자의 책임이다. 링크가 같은 길이라도 피니언 앵글은 변한다. 2.09°는 큰 각도가 아니지만, 이미지에서 보듯이 링크가 길수록 피니언 앵글과 휠베이스 변화량이 더 작아진다. Mark Williams 웹사이트에 따르면: 드라이브샤프트의 작동 앵글은 피니언, 드라이브샤프트, 트랜스미션 센터라인 간의 각도다. 드라이브샤프트의 최적 작동 앵글은 1/2 정도다.
