증상
캠 체인 리콜 정비 후 소프트웨어 업그레이드 실패로 차량이 먹통됨. 소프트웨어 업로드 시 화면에 로딩 휠이 계속 표시됨. 정비 완료 후 엔진 경고등 점등, 서비스 주기 오류로 약 70,000마일 초과 메시지 표시됨.
처리 내용
Took the company van in for a cam chain recall, three hour estimate. Dropped off with the minimum of fuss. Pretty much three hours later my phone rings. Cam chain done, but the software upgrade hasn't gone well, as in the van is now dead. Every time they try to upload the software it's wheel of death on the screen. New estimate of completion is two days to two weeks. I ask for a replacement van while mine is incapacitated, no van available, but they do have a Corsa I can have, perfect for my servicing job in heavy industry.Three days after dropping the van for a supposed simple procedure I get the van back. Engine light is on, and it's telling me I am now nearly 70,000 miles over due a service.
