증상
1999 Suburban의 에어컨이 작년 가을부터 냉각 성능이 저하되었고, 늦가을부터 완전히 냉각되지 않음. 봄이 되어도 여전히 냉각 안 됨. 부동액 수준은 정상. 냉매 압력이 낮을 가능성 있음(느린 누수로 인한 냉매 부족 의심).
처리 내용
시스템을 완전히 진공 배출한 후, 회수한 냉매의 같은 양을 다시 충전하면 됨. 냉매가 나오지 않았다면 일반적으로 시스템 크기에 따라 1~2온스를 추가. 참고: 구형 냉매는 폐기하지 말고 회수 기계로 재활용 가능(수분, 공기, 불순물 제거). 폐기는 비용이 들고 추가로 신규 냉매 비용도 발생. 압력만으로는 정확한 충전 여부를 판단할 수 없음(공기 등의 불응축성 가스 혼입 가능). 회수 기계를 사용하면 정확한 회수량을 측정할 수 있으므로, 규정량과 비교하여 정확히 진단 가능. 형광 염료 추가 시 추후 누수 진단에 유용함.
