However I've also seen someone ignore the height limit going into a multi storey car park and then impale his high top van's forehead on some structural concrete, on the first ramp. He did not look pleased, in fact he was literally hopping mad. It looked like a company van, with his family on the bench seat, so could have been the precursor to a very awkward conversation at work.I don't see why they couldn't find space for a sacrificial height restriction. It would just be a goal post across the road - space required = 2 posts.I suppose the trick would be to prevent the goal post being demolished when struck by a HGV and taking some poor bystander out.
