증상
2004 쉐보레 아발란시 브레이크 페달 펄싱 증상. 가게에서 출발할 때 급제동 후 발생. 패드 교체 후 2주일간 증상 해소되었으나 재발. 제거한 패드는 불균형 마모(위쪽보다 아래쪽이 심함). 새 패드가 글라이드에 제대로 맞지 않음. ABS 퓨즈 제거 후에도 펄싱 증상 지속 - 휠 센서 문제 배제.
처리 내용
워프된 로터가 펄싱을 유발할 수 있으나, 현재 펄싱은 휠 회전에 맞춘 형태로 ABS의 급속 펄싱과는 다름. 패드 불균형 마모는 브레이크 시스템 문제의 신호. 스티킹 캘리퍼, 스티킹 슬라이드, 불량 브레이크 호스는 패드 불균형 마모와 로터 워핑을 동시에 유발함. 캘리퍼 슬라이드 핀/부시 점검 및 캘리퍼 작동 상태 확인 필요.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.

I think it is a shame to lose one of the distinctive features of the 944 (the wrap around rear screen).Proportions from rear three-quarters are also a bit too Scimitar for my taste but each to their own.
