There have been a handful of rough ones down about £20k over the years as you say, but given their age, parts availability, and how few and far between the proper specialists are to work on them, they're the epitome of the saying that if you can't afford a decent one then you really can't afford a cheap one. Years ago, I bought a full set of spare headlamps for €1000, but I saw a single unit for sale last year for €800. Mine had a decent stay at Alfa Aid recently - nothing untoward, just the expected wear-and-tear on a 30 year-old-car, and even with their stock and contacts there were a couple of bits that took some getting hold of. I think the SZ and RZ are generally a bit undervalued given how much people will pay for some other much more commonplace and much less interesting cars, but that only really matters if you're selling. Which, for the moment, I'm not.
