DOT3와 DOT4 브레이크 액의 차이점이 무엇인가?

매뉴얼에서 소량의 DOT3를 사용할 수 있다고 말하는 것은, 브레이크액이 부족할 때 DOT3만 있다면 브레이크액이 없는 것보다 그것을 사용하는 것이 낫다는 의미입니다. 다만 집에 돌아온 후에는 시스템을 블리딩하고 DOT4를 다시 채워야 합니다. 앞서 언급했듯이 DOT4는 더 높은 열을 견딜 수 있습니다. 차량 매뉴얼에서 DOT4를 지정하는 이유는 제조사가 브레이크 시스템의 온도가 DOT3가 견딜 수 있는 범위를 넘을 가능성이 있다고 판단했기 때문입니다. 또 한 가지 중요한 점은 브레이크액에는 두 가지 끓는점이 있다는 것입니다: Dry(건식) 끓는점과 Wet(습식) 끓는점입니다. 브레이크액을 새로 교체하고 시스템을 제대로 블리딩했을 때는 Dry 끓는점에서 작동합니다. 시간이 지남에 따라 경년변화, 열 사이클, 호스를 통해 물이 시스템에 들어오게 되고, 이때는 액의 Wet 끓는점에서 작동하게 됩니다.

2019 Dodge Ram 5.7L HEMI, 100km 미만. 브레이크 작업 후 시운전 중 풀 스로틀로 0-70mph까지 한 번 가속 후 발생. 엔진 미스파이어 시작, 체크 엔진 라이트 깜박임. 리듬컬한 탭탭탭 소리 발생(collapsed lifter 유사음). 2/3 스로틀 이상에서만 발생, 정상 주행 시에는 미스만 있고 해머링음 없음.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.

I think it is a shame to lose one of the distinctive features of the 944 (the wrap around rear screen).Proportions from rear three-quarters are also a bit too Scimitar for my taste but each to their own.
