증상
자동차를 직접 잭으로 들어 올리고 액슬 스탠드에 올리는 작업이 불안하고 두렵습니다. 예를 들어 Mk1 Escort의 리어 서스펜션 로우링 블록을 교체하려고 하는데, 스패너 작업은 괜찮지만 어디서 잭을 대야 하고 액슬 스탠드를 어디에 놓아야 하는지 모르겠습니다. 타이어샵 직원도 아직도 이 작업이 힘들다고 합니다.
처리 내용
1990년대 초 Mk5 Cortina를 잭질했을 때 잭 포인트 부분의 실 가장자리가 녹슬어 있어 부서졌던 경험이 있습니다. 그 이후로는 가능하면 트레일링 암이나 서브프레임을 사용하는 것이 좋습니다. 가장 쉬운 것은 작은 Fiat, Renault 등 리어 빔을 가진 차량들입니다. 2008년식 Alfa GT를 수리했을 때 프론트 잭 손상이 있었는데, 제조사가 실 커버에 표시는 해놨지만 실제 잭 포인트는 실 가장자리에서 약 10cm 안쪽입니다. 많은 차량들이 이 위치에 부서짐 손상을 입고 있습니다.
