Would have any one of them, except perhaps the BMW and swap it for a 1M, one of the only @6k ones made, Limited then!

The Renault R26 at ยฃ55k is barely better than an F1 edition for ยฃ50k less. A Honda in marmite yellow, when regular fk8's are half. A BMW that is not too far off its list price 8 years on. Was there a Focus with 48k miles featured? I've since forgotten. What would I rush to buy from that lot? None. The market is well and truly broken.Good honest post +1

Paid deposit on this at 09.15, seller needs to sort another car before I can hopefully collect on Monday.Pretty grubby inside, just needs a good clean, as does the outside.MOT history is fine, servicing up to 1000 miles ago.I see it as an upgraded 3.0 Alfa GTV... But bigger, much bigger, it's longer than my old xc70.Of course my Alfa on the way home drove extra superb, fingers crossed my wife takes it over.

I was looking around the supermarket carpark in dispair today. If you built 1999 Mondeo 1.8 Hatches today and sold them for 25k you'd sell them by the million. Cars have gone dramatically backwards.Am I right?

The 8v engine was a very nice all round engine for torque and smoothness and the car felt a bit more solid compared to other hot hatches of the time. Wouldnt have bothered with a 16v, if I d have wanted more power the red top 2.0 16v Astra was a better engine. I felt you sat a little high in the golf though, more on it than in it.Didnt realise that they were available on an A plate ! Hens teeth i would imagine now ? Just remembered that in 87 we replaced my Mums stolen immaculate Y plat

Hi All,I own a 2004 MX-5, which I recently paid ยฃ3000 for welding and ยฃ1400 for an underside repaint, seal and cavity wax.The insurance comparison sites say my car is worth ยฃ1500, however prices online vary wildly from ยฃ1000 for a rust bucket to ยฃ10,000 for a pristine low milage example. My car has 63k miles, so lower than average and is in excellent condition, as well as having a rare beige leather and wood trim interior, wooden steering wheel etc.MX-5s of this age can look near mint externally, but small bubbles on the sills will usually hide a much bigger problem because the rust starts in

markymarkthree said: Having had agreed value on my classic cars for many years. I have always wondered that if the car was a right-off, would i get the "agreed value" of the car automatically. Or would i have a fight on my hands, like you generally do with insurance company's, when making a claim for a written-off daily car. Has anyone on here actually received the full "agreed value" on a written-off classic ? Thatโ€™s the whole point of agreed value - it does what it says on the tin. They have charged you a premium based on said value. The value had to be justified in the first place and so
