크래프츠맨 제설기(모델 247.889702)가 시동이 안 걸림. 겨울철에 휘발유를 방치했다가 여름을 거쳐 시동을 시도했으나 작동하지 않음. 카뷰레터가 거뭉쳐 있는 것을 발견하고 카뷰레터 볼과 본체를 카브 클리너로 세척하고 구 휘발유를 드레인한 후 새 휘발유를 넣었으나 여전히 시동이 안 걸림.
카뷰레터 교체를 권장함. 재빌드를 시도할 수도 있지만 번거로우므로 인터넷에서 신품 카뷰레터를 구입하는 것이 훨씬 쉬움(일반적으로 모델에 따라 50달러 미만). 신품 설치 후 연료 라인에 차단 밸브를 설치하고, 사용 후 밸브를 잠그고 휘발유가 떨어질 때까지 운전하여 카뷰레터를 깨끗하게 유지할 것. Sta-Bil 같은 연료 안정제를 사용하여 다음 시즌까지 휘발유를 신선하게 유지할 것.
