Not stopping whilst doing big mileage is definitely a thing. Six hours or more is possible. I quite regularly used to do Stansted airport to Edinburgh, have a pee there and come back again. Another quite regular one for a while was 1100 miles to Nig bay and back. My vehicle at the time did, I think, something like 450 miles to the tank so I'd stop somewhere before arriving fill up and have a pee, on to Nig bay and deliver, have a bite to eat and another pee. Then on the way back I'd stop when I needed to fill up and have another pee which would get me home. It's quite simple. If you're gonna do big mileage don't drink a lot of liquid before you leave or while you're driving and definitely avoid fizzy drinks. I used to take a small flask of coffee and a big bottle of water and drink conservatively. If you did ask to ridicule then knock yourself out.It’s of course possible, although that doesn’t mean it’s advisable, purely from a safety perspective. There’s very good reasons why commercial drivers are mandated to take at least a 45min break every 4.5hrs, max. with stiff penalties for not doing so. That’s every 250-300 miles. Following those same rules as a private driver is not mandatory, but still a good rule of thumb from a safety aspect alone. Let alone physical well being and general comfort. It coincides very nicely with typical modern EV range and recharge metrics. Almost as though things were designed that way. Irrespective of energy source, if such journey formats don’t work for you, perhaps consider planning things differently. Regardless of how superior you may regard your driving and endurance skills, you’re trading safety for schedule.
