증상
2007 현대 산타페, 주행거리 90,000km 초과. 연료 게이지가 심하게 변동함. 센서 교체 후에도 만땅을 해도 절반만 표시됨. 결함 센서 재교체 후 정상으로 보였으나, 약 1개월 후 오르막길에서 엔진이 꺼짐. 전자 장치는 작동하지만 파워 스티어링과 파워 브레이크 작동 안 함. 시동을 걸려고 해도 크랭크만 되고 시작 안 됨.
처리 내용
센서 결함이 엔진 꺼짐을 유발할 수는 없음. 파워 스티어링과 브레이크가 작동하지 않는 것은 엔진이 꺼진 것이 정상. 연료 펌프 고장 의심. 정비사가 연료 라인에 연료 압력 센서를 장착하여 압력을 점검할 수 있음. 엔진이 연료 압력을 잃고 있다면 압력 게이지에 직접 나타날 것. 이렇게 자주 꺼진다면 쉽게 파악할 수 있을 것. 연료 펌프가 고장 나더라도 연료 게이지 문제와는 직접적 관련이 없음. 서로 다른 문제지만 센서가 연료 탱크 내 펌프와 같은 위치에 있음. 현대 정식 딜러에 확인. 신차 구매라면 차량 연식과 주행거리를 감안할 때 아직 보증 기간 내일 가능성 높음.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.
