증상
OHV(오버헤드 밸브) 엔진과 OHC(오버헤드 캠축) 엔진의 장단점 비교. OHC 엔진이 OHV 엔진보다 더 빠르게 회전한다는 설명에 대해 알고 싶음.
처리 내용
OHC 엔진은 주로 밸브트레인 무게가 훨씬 낮아서 밸브 제어가 개선되고 밸브 플로팅이 발생하기 전의 RPM 한계가 높습니다. OHV 엔진은 푸시로드와 상대적으로 무거운 로커 암을 가지고 있는 반면, OHC는 이를 제거했습니다. 밸브의 관성이 낮아서 제어가 쉬워지고, 따라서 플로팅 발생 전에 주어진 리프트와 지속시간에 대해 더 낮은 스프링 압력을 사용할 수 있습니다. DOHC 셋업은 4개(때로는 5개) 밸브를 가지고 있으며 효율을 개선하는 세 가지 이점이 있습니다: 두 개의 작은 포트의 총 부피가 하나의 큰 포트보다 크고, 작은 포트는 더 높은 기류 속도를 가지며 실린더를 더 효과적으로 채울 수 있습니다. 또한 밸브트레인 무게 측면에서 두 개의 작은 밸브가 더 가볍고 더 가벼운 스프링과 하드웨어가 필요합니다.
