For most, the NC500 is a very accessible £100 fuel tank away. The WAW adds a £500+ ferry on top. And at the moment, the type of tourists on WAW are different to the NC500.Exactly, the WAW is positioned as a tourist destination, not just for motoring enthusiast. In fact, given the recent heatwave issues in mainland Europe at the height of the summer, I think it will become more and more in demand given the rarity of 30C+ temperatures in IrelandIn saying that, these parts are rally country, and have been for decades. Lots of rally events year round, both modern and historic. As such, there is a real appreciation of all things engine-based. In fact there’s many a barn or shed storing the likes of Mk2 Escorts, Mantas, Celicas, etc. that get regularly driven on these roads
