So, if all you care about is the engine, why would you want an A110 when you could get absolutely everything you care about from a much cheaper hatchback with a generic automatic turbo four in it? Or is there more to a sports car than that? but i didn't say that? yep - just checked, and - I definitely didn't. A sports car is an inhearantly impactical, compromised thing. If you're going to accept one as either a daily, or in this car's car likely occupying the one other slot on the driveway (collector special this is not), then it needs to make you feel special, and needs to be enoyable. Having done tens of thousands of miles in EVs, and owning far too many ICE cars of various configurations than is healthy, i know a sports car that adds mass, and swaps whatever imperfect /noisy/ torque limited /inefficient, etc powertrain for a ruthlessly efficient silent mass of thrust.... is going to make it less enjoyable, so I ... won't buy it...? I mean, it's hardly for debate - as it's my brain, right?Neither will anyone else, at any volume is my more subjective point. Like every other EV sportscar so far, as Porsche know all too well, hence they changed their powertrain plans for the Cayman/Boxter...

My knees were always touching the steering wheel and the wheel always felt too low down. The seating position is easily sorted 997 (or 987 boxster) seats are a straight swap, they sit you lower ( give better support) and puts the steering wheel in a much better position.

I've got my Phaeton with the 6HP to do soon, a bit more involved as a job, but it's already had a box and a torque converter in the last 50k, so it hasn't been left forever without maintenance - I've heard the 6HP19s seem to like to give trouble! It's my first torque converter auto (in 70 cars of manuals, and 1 DSG!)If I'd kept my old E320cdi I'd have certainly ended up getting the gearbox serviced. I bought it with 104k on

The Mk3 Astra and Cavalier are so similar (especially at the front) that only a true car nerd would know or care, but the Saab has an Astra rear beam, clear as day. The GTE's beam would fit right on for example, and the way the handbrake cables work are the same. A Cavalier sort of uses a single cable, Astra/ Saab uses one for each wheel. But then Saab added 5mm spacers each side at the rear, to make it the same as a Cavalier....It's very odd.Well I for one have learnt somethin
