증상

This place in Norway is on a busy road, there’s an Esso round the corner and two massive petrol / charging stations with restaurants attached 10 minutes away on the other side of the valley …. So no business case whatsoever. It’d be hard to pull in / out of from the other side of the road too.

Probably covered here before, but I was mooching around West Kent yesterday and I came across this lovely spot on the B2086 just west of Benenden.Petrol pump looks in extremely good condition and quite possibly working order, but very much unused."No cards accepted" rather dates it to a time long before Covid hysteria and paranoia about handling currency bearing the face of Her late Majesty.Shabby old plot of land opposite full of decaying rammel. Sadly nothing too interesting.Wind back through the years on Google Street View and it didn't appear to have been a working filling station in 2009. It's seemingly used as a motor repair shop, but the defunct fuelling infrastructure seems rather well kept.Land Rover Series IIa has supposedly been off the road since 1995 but GSV shows it to have shuffled around the yard a lot and is in reasonable nick considering.
